George and Margaret Goodfellow lived at Bustard Head from 1886 to 1889; an isolated interlude for town folk whose grandmothers were school teachers, embroidery merchants and wives of a druggist, painter, organist, soldiers and farmers.

3.1.1 George Goodfellow's parents Henry and Grace (Fitzpatrick) Goodfellow, lived in Glastonbury.  Henry Goodfellow was a druggist, grocer and dealer in Berlin Wools before he was declared insolvent.

3.1.2 Grace Fitzpatrick was born in Boulogne-sur-Mer, on the north west coast of France. Grace was a schoolmistress in Glastonbury and later in London.

3.2.1 Margaret Johnston's parents Arthur Johnston and Annie Pasquie have been elusive.  Was Arthur really born in Java and baptised 14 years later in Paris in 1827?

3.2.2  There is no confirmation that Grace's grandmother was Anne, the child baptised in Paris with parents Isadore Pasquier and Gabriele Corbet.

4.1.1.1 Henry Tewkesbury Goodfellow's parents, John and Jane (Jeanes) Goodfellow, lived in Wincanton. John was a house painter and organist.

4.1.1.2 Jane (Jeanes) Goodfellow was a schoolmistress in Church Street, Wincanton and ran the Berlin Wool depot.  Mary Goodfellow, born 1785, also had a school, in High Street, Wincanton.  The relationships between these families is unknown.

4.1.2.1.Grace Fitzpatrick's parents were John Fitzpatrick and Jane Howe.  John was a Captain in the 88th Regiment of Foot..

4.1.2.2 Jane lived for more than 50 years after John's death in 1838.  She lived in several places in London as an annuitant and lodger.

5.1.1.1 John Goodfellow's parents were Henry Goodfellow and Dinah Tewkesbury.

5.1.1.2 Jane Jeane's parents were John Jeanes and Susannah Bridle.

5.1.2.1 John Fitzpatrick's parents were Charles and Catherine (Purcell) Fitzpatrick.  Charles occupied land in Ballogh (Ballagharahin) townland, Rathdowney Parish, Queen's County Laois, Ireland.

5.1.2.2 Catherine Purcell's family were from Loughmoe in County Tipperary.

6.1.2.1 Charles Fitzpatrick's parents were John and Dymphna (Shanahan) Fitzpatrick.  John also lived at Ballagh townland.  Their marriage settlement was recorded in the Registry of Deeds in 1747. John was buried at Errill in May 1784.

7.1.2.1 John's father, Joseph was heir to his brother, who purchased Loughteague near Stradbally from John, Earl of Upper Ossory.  There are links back to the Fitzpatricks of Ballyboodan and Joseph's grandfather Thady Fitzpatrick, who died in 1674.

Fitzpatrick Clans in Ireland 

The link back to 1622 is the Errill Wayside Cross, built by Geoffrey Fitzpatrick of Ballagharahin, in honour of his parents  Florence Fitzpatrick and Katherine Moore, Lord and Lady Upper Ossory.  Florence was a younger son of Brian Oge (Barnaby) Mac Gilla Patraic, sho submitted to King Henry VIII in 1537.
